Job descRIPTION:

We are looking for the Accountant in our Tbilisi Dry Port Finance team.
This position reports to the Chief Accountant and cooperates with all functions reporting directly to CFO, Chief Accountant & TDP Operations.

The primary responsibility of the accountant is to review and analyze financial records, keeping track of a company's income, expenditures, and tax liabilities.

Maintaining current daily accounting operations;
Recording, archiving and control of accounting records;
Accounting and control of inventories and fixed assets;
Participating in the preparation of information for returns to be submitted to the Revenue Service;
Production of payroll sheets;
Control of receivable and payable; compiling acts of comparison;
Comparing documents held by the company and filed with the Revenue Service;
Maintaining accounting activities in accordance with applicable laws and standards;
Maintaining daily accounting transactions;
Performing bank transfers;
Preparation of returns and calculation of taxes stipulated by the Tax Code of Georgia:
Preparing pension and statistical declarations
Preparing accounting reports;
Interaction with tax authorities and control of tax accounting;
Interaction with financial audit if necessary;

Higher education in Finance or similar (Bachelor's degree);
At least 1 year of experience in a similar position;
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel;
Experience in accounting programs
High level knowledge of Georgian and English (written, verbal);
Ability to identify problems and respond immediately
Management of stressful situations
Effective communication and time management skills
Team-oriented, collegial and communicative;
Sense of responsibility and diligence;
